THE HOLY HOUR
Does anybody remember the Holy Hour in Dublin?
More to the point can we remember what we did then?

  2. Holy hour = one hour where pubs are closed in the afternoon 15.00-16.00 hours. But only in strict Dublin areas. Just outside of the heart of the city the pubs remained open.

  4. Love the Eire stuff.
They still know stories with life.
    Sori about Dublin today though.

BTW : Pissed as a newt once and ended up on stage with Luke Kelly. The lights were strong but I sensed an audience. Actually sang a song but god only knows the rest. That was Dublin as it once was. We had been on the "go" for a couple of days ( they knew the Holy Hour places to visit).
Will never be able to write about because the memory was never there even when it was really happening.

Those were the days my friend.

"Those were the days my friend
    We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
With lots of sex and booze
Those were the days - oh yes, those were the days."
