Both wine and bread at confirmation were fake and this small site might just attract others that experienced the same. Critical voices? Those that participate? Who knows. For those that find sympathy with a walk on the wild sides of life, mountains, rivers or forests but do not pretend to escape. Other bits and pieces the news and also odds and sods that cry out "leave it off mate". Justly a lark and maybe the lark. But the lark will often land on the cactus.

THE HOLY HOUR Does anybody remember the Holy Hour in Dublin? More to the point can we remember what we did then?
Holy hour = one hour where pubs are closed in the afternoon 15.00-16.00 hours. But only in strict Dublin areas. Just outside of the heart of the city the pubs remained open.
Love the Eire stuff. They still know stories with life. Sori about Dublin today though.
BTW : Pissed as a newt once and ended up on stage with Luke Kelly. The lights were strong but I sensed an audience. Actually sang a song but god only knows the rest. That was Dublin as it once was. We had been on the "go" for a couple of days ( they knew the Holy Hour places to visit). Will never be able to write about because the memory was never there even when it was really happening.
"Those were the days my friend We thought they'd never end We'd sing and dance forever and a day We'd live the life we choose With lots of sex and booze Those were the days - oh yes, those were the days."
