That's what I mean by false consciousness. These weird people totally confuse wish-think with actuality. They've told us today in the Queen's Speech that there is to be a Bill to halve the National Debt - just like that, at the stroke of a pen! (G. Brown saves the world again.) And a minister was on TV assuring us that the government has abolished sink estates and no-go areas. If only....
Trouble is, the other lot aren't going to much if any better. You'd best stick to lapdancing in Lappland.
