Critical awareness, poetry, history, philosophy and all that have finally been shelved as a Classical Relic.
Training, training and more training has been the result.
This was the target and bullseye. Success.
Management training psycho-babble has won the culture wars.
Today the Ny Labor management group, with Blair and Brown, Thatcher and the underlings, get ready to dance their dance and celebrate.

Both wine and bread at confirmation were fake and this small site might just attract others that experienced the same. Critical voices? Those that participate? Who knows. Why are you surprised, Zola? With the collapse since the 1960s of traditional standards of learning and culture, and the infestation of academia with the pseudo-intellectualism of postmodernism, deconstructionism, and all the rest of the incomprehensible and largely meaningless twaddle comprising the late 20th century trahison des clercs, few people of the present ruling generation any longer know what education is.
You should read Richard J. Evans' "In Defence of History". And occasionally post a serious comment in my Arena as a change from your endlessly flippant ones.
