AN ETHICAL COMPETITION
In Finland the Midsummer period ( a few days of boozing) is always ending in a kind of angst. Such is the Finnish character. But there is one way to counter that. It is called the game of human resources. ( if you thought Monopoly had it all ideologically correct then just try this).
How many human resources will be lost ( that is deadified or simply lost) for the Greater Finland this Midsummer?
Answers can come by this blog and no statistical analysis will be paid for.
How many Finns ( or nearly Finns) will die in Midsummer madness?
This competition ends on Sunday night-Monday-morning.
How many Finns dead this Midsummer? That is the question.
Check with the Finnish newspapers to see how important this is each year.
Bugger it I'm off for another beer.

Am I talking to mesen here?
Guess so.
hello Zola.
Hi Zola~~ I kinda landed here at random via your friends of friends blogs and that's how I ended up here... actually I was thinking about this last night, the longest night of the year... how far North we are here in Britain compared to so much of North America (at least the places where most people there LIVE) and you're WELL to the North your evenings must go on and on and on at this time of year. Winter must be depressing though.
Well this is a fascinating blog you've got here. I am a blogger too (surprise!) I'm at http://gledwood2.blogspot.com if you want to drop by you're most welcome. See you there hopefully~ all the best

Well still alive.
Lost a bicycle in the early hours but it will return no doubt.
Sauna and insects and camp fires and all that.
Will continue today as best I can.
hic.....
Tough job but somebody has to keep the home fires burning and set an example.
What day is it?
Who won ?
Death rate ( due to the midsummer madness)was, in Finland, 13 or 14 depending on info coming in.
Suicides and all that stuff are not included in midsummer madness figures.
You guessed it _ your honest hard working Zola survived.
What fuckin year is it?
I would say that 14 was very low result. I guess that normal rate for accidental death in Finlandia for long weekend is above that. And midsummer should be THE Party Holiday of nation. So is this low death rate a sign of beginning of a low season in business world or what? Alcohol has never been cheaper in Finlandia?
What the heck is goin on here???
Good to hear that Zola survived to year 2006. :)
Indeed Reissueunrepairable : It was a low figure this year. Why?
Main reason is this blog makes folk guilty before they even start their mischief.
Off to church next month!!!!
