ON SERIOUS STUFF
This blog has tried in the past to open up a few big things ( like the legs of LB, with very little success) and this blog must take some blame for the present "anomie" condition.

However, without trying to whinge and cringe, imp or whimp, this blog finds a trend towards a far too independent positioning. This alienates the necessary ideological structure of truth and reason. The significant centre is debased and alienated through such open systems of anything-goes, so long as it pays, labour.

In a word.
I FUCKED UP and I helped kill so many in the process.
( I now go off to Yellow Duck and Anticant for therapy).

Please forgive me I want my legacy.

Whatever are you on about? Your legacy is to be Awks Blogger Supremo - the Site that reaches where others dare not and cannot. Always guaranteed to provide refreshment, and often inspiration.

Dear Zola, you are a unique and irreplaceable Oasis amid the often dreary tundras of the blogosphere. So cheer up!

Thanks Finlandia : Did it and it made me want to vent my anger at Bliar even more.
It was not meant to be about "me" it was our "precious" that was writing it.
That disgusting excuse for a human being Blair has run out of tricks and treats.
It is as sad that the bastardized Labour government is also lacking in any kind of "character" or dignity.

Will somebody just tell Bliar TO GO AWAY and accept our departing gift of a house in Suez by the canal.

Cheer up, he'll be gone soon - at least from No. 10. And if something I read recently [by Rees-Mogg, no less] in "The Times" about extradition possibilities has any substance, he may well find himself "doing a Pinochet" before long. What goes around comes around.....And a dozen free rounds for all in the burrow Snug if it comes off!

Make that two dozen Anticant ( I will pay the extra - cheque comes in the post).
But I am totally spaced out with recent goings on.
Was there ever a time when a brit could stand up straight and look the world in the eye? if there was it is long gone.

Yes, there was, and I lived through it. Dunkirk. Battle of Britain. Their Finest Hour. And we had the moral edge then. Nothing to be ashamed of, although appeasement, Munich and all that had been a close shave.

In today's 'Telegraph' Boris Johnson suggests that Blair should end his farewell tour in an open-topped submarine. But - as a commentator points out - that would add enormously to the oceanic pollution level.

In a fortnight's time there will be a burrow competition for the most succinct one-sentence epitaph on Blair's premiership. Prizes all round on this occasion. So get sharpening yer wits.

Blair : " A wannabe Machiavelian found wanting in both intelligence and substance." ( Zola 2007 ).

There you have it Antipants there it is.

I did avoid the moral bit you know.
You seem to bring it up.
Damn it all.
As deeds shatter the words......

Where morality (forget ethics for now) BECOMES past and future with no present. ( without culture that is )

I'm off for a beer.
Off for an occasion.
Off to who knows where.
Trying, trying
To "Come Up For Air".

Holy Shit - that says it all.

Dunno about bringing it up. The mad mendacious mountebank who's been PM for ten years too long makes me want to throw up!

Correct - Tony wants to be St Tony.
I am sure a deal to fast track him his in the offing.
There is no problem - the very thought of him has had me 'miroculous' on a number of occasions.
(Miroculous drunk is pure Glasgow, by the way).
