DIARY OF A MONDAY MAN
The wind had changed and the wet snow falls again.
A misty grey-light haunts
And pisses me off.
Then a neighbour cat turns up.
Cold and pleading and left out all night.
Cats are good at that even when the human folk go to work early.
Fed the cat.
Kind to be cruel but there it is.
Meant to do a few things today for official life
Too late now.
Maybe another day will come along that says official work is ok.
Latest update at 14.00 hours (mytime)
Stray cat still lurking and sitting just outside my door.
Never should have fed "it".
That is now about 7 hours of this lurkin by the stray cat.
It is a young male in Springtime.
Our own cat, at home, is an older ( much older) female.
Dear Aunties all : What do I do?

I do not know about Lapland but in the UK we have various private companies to solve these problems.
We also have a National Health Service and many Ethics Committees.
Perhaps you should google the UK systems.
Taking care of stray cats is much more important than doing things for official life.
Well Anticant : After 8 hours me missus got back from her work. She carried the cat back to where it had a house.
The cat backed away after being let down and me hard headed missus got it back to where the house should be.
I am left with a feeling of home.
A house?
God damit we all need a home not a house.
But as the Anticant frat knows I am romantic justb as LONG as me penis does not get into season.
"... we all need a home not a house."
You are IKEA and I claim my 10 fifty pence hotdogs.
Blutty scandinavians.
When is your penis in season? I thought it was permanently pickled.
Don't be cruel, an older female is a joy to be educated by.
I have to concur with anti's first comment, sage advice for one and all.
I agree with the guys.
Pussy is the most important thing in life.
Pussy has clearly friends with you lot.
However.
Today returned.
Now it is already four hours of this return.
Day two I guess.
It also has a club foot and what might be a broken leg from the past.
One ear is slightly torn ( usually a female cat has that).
It is all... ah dunno.... damned difficult.
If only I had born born in times when ethics was significant.
Is there somewhere you can take it? A Cats Protection League or somewhere equivalent?
On this third day a young long-legged female human came and picked up our little stray cat.
Now I miss the cat.
Hope the cat comes back.
Zola, I feel you have described the very essence of Life and Existence in that last comment.
No mean feat ;-)
On the 4th day I woke as usual about 5 in the morning. The cat was there, again.
I fed it again.
But I never let "it" into "our" house.
Should I keep feeding the stray as an outsider?
Should I feed it ( and make me feel "good") from near the rubbish bins?
On this 4th day I understand more about what it really means to be an adopted child.
This stray cat is no longer a stranger that stays too long. He is becoming a friend.
Your use of metaphor is revealing. But the facts remain.
What happens to this cat?
All cats are strays.
Really.
