As the Christmas dawns what can be said.
" Thou that has taken away the sins of the world
Have mercy upon us..."
But just try to cast that first stone in yer own glasshouse!!!

Stonecasters will be prosecuted. By Order. Judge anticant.
Keep that order in the court Antichrist.
Make mine an arf a bitter for now.
Not Antichrist - Antichristian. What would I like for Christmas? A zillionth of Nietzsche's polemical brilliance. So long as I don't end up embracing a cabhorse in Turin and being "cared for" by the ghastly Elisabeth.
Who invented mince pies?
Freddie NeatShoe Dancer
BTW : This was the first time that horse meat was not used for the mincemeat.
What is in that mince today Antijest?
Do not say Brandy !!!
Yes, when I was little the family mincemeat did include plenty of brandy! Lots of assorted dried fruits, all put through the mincing machine and properly blended - not like the lumpy stuff you get in shop mince pies!
My grandmother was a wonderful cook, and the Christmas preparations - making mincemeat, cakes, etc. - began in September. Those were the days!
A wise friend of mine - an American clergyman! - once said: "Forgiveness is continuous, and does not depend upon our state of righteousness at the moment".
I feel terribly sorry for all those poor people who need to be reminded once a year by Christmas, of all things, to be kind to others.
I have no need of ritual for that - I just do it. You can, too.
Hear, hear.
